Zaragas is a fictional kaiju, or giant monster, that originated in the Japanese tokusatsu television series, Ultraman.
He first appeared in episode 23 of the original Ultraman series, titled "My Home is Earth." Zaragas is notable for his unique, crystalline appearance and powerful electrical abilities. His design is often described as insect-like with a hard, gem-like exterior.
In the storyline, Zaragas is depicted as an alien creature whose existence throws Earth into chaos. He is capable of disrupting the electromagnetic field, creating unpredictable weather patterns and distortions in time and space. The Science Patrol, including Ultraman, are called upon to stop his rampage and restore order.
